    9th Grade

School is so different than when I was in school.  Leanna is in 9th grade... which means the Pooley community are all experiencing 9th grade... and let me tell you... times have changed... and so has the learning process...  I'm wondering will there be time to blog... or read blogs... or shave... or shower... or...  well, you get the idea...  Its a time of transition and adjustment... but so far all is good.

My biggest problem to this point is...  with my daughter going to Gulf Breeze, and our family living in Gulf Breeze... and me having graduated from Milton... who do I pull for when Milton plays Gulf Breeze in football?  This is a tough one.

Another thing...  since 9th grade has become a community for the whole family... do we all get to go to prom?  If so, I wonder can you still get powder blue tuxes?  That would be groovy.

Looks like you guys are doing well so far. Some answers for you:

When Milton plays Gulf Breeze, root for Navarre.

Yes, you can still get the powder blue tux (lime green too) but I don't know if the company that makes the ruffle dickies is still in business.

No.... that's cool. I have a source for the ruffle dickies.

I vote with Dave....you should really root for Navarre. GO RAIDERS!!! Oh yeah...speaking of prom,yeah...well...I'd suggest following the limo to the prom, hide outside in the bushes during the prom, you could probably sneak in a Starbucks while she's at dinner. Watch the limo leave prom and beat it back home like you've been there all night waiting for the news to come on or Letterman or whatever, and...yeah....SKIP the blue tux. Just my humble, unsolicted advice.

Oh yeah..I forgot....I don't think they say "groovy" anymore.

They don't say groovy any more? Aw shucks... and thanks for the limo advice... you have obvioulsy thought that strategy through.

I sure have...I have 5 boys to protect you know!!! I get to practice my strategy on Ryle next year....don't blow my cover!!!

Hey! Didn't I know you when you were in 9th grade!?!

You know, I think I remember you in a powder blue tux. That's a look that's way overdue for a revival. Picture it... James Bond, Tony Bennet, Ryan Seacrest. Certainly, Ryan Seacrest.
